The king bed was large and comfortable (I slept very well). The room also had laundry facilities. This was very convenient for washing clothes after going to the beach.
The walk to the city center was a bit far.

onsite thai restaurantmicrowave ovenunlevel bed
the thai restaurant onsite was acceptable, it provided a convenient dining option.
I found the lack of a microwave oven quite inconvenient. It limited my options for preparing quick meals, also, the bed wasn't level and this impacted the quality of my sleep.

city centre is very close. warf is five kilometers from the hotel. car parking is available. reception is open 24 hrs.
i stayed in the disabled suite. the shower head made it impossible to enjoy a shower, as the water sprayed all over the room unless the pressure was turned right down. our room wasn't attended to on one day, which ordinarily wouldn't be an issue, except our towels were drenched from the shower.

i found a large fridge in the room. it was great because i could store plenty of food. staff were friendly, and this enhanced my experience (.).
The bathroom needs a refurbishment, i think. paint was coming away from the door and it looked old. also, cleaners just folded the towels instead of replacing them. They didn't sweep the floor.

great locationsporadic cleaning servicespoorly stocked kitchen
The location was great as it was just one street back from the foreshore.
The cleaning services were sporadic over Easter. There was no warning that rooms would not be serviced (not cool). The kitchen was poorly stocked. I found no complimentary milk. there wasn't a bottle opener and they told me there was ONE bottle opener at reception for the entire hotel. I mean seriously, every room should have one!
